Inspired by the San Francisco Figurative Movement, Ryoko Tajiri moved from her home in Japan to earn her MFA in Expressive Painting from the Academy of Art University. Her uniquely developed cubist style of painting has won her numerous awards and is collected both publicly and privately around the world.
